Whales, Whales, Whales

In the link above, there is a song about whales, the purpose of this song is giving us a visual about how whales look, the different kinds of whales, and other facts about them. In the song, it adds together catchy phrases that show us what these specific whales do and what they’re called. For example “What whale has large teeth and hunts in packs Its got a white belly and a shiny black back The dorsal fin is huge and it likes to eat Its called the killer whale ‘Cause it kills for meat.” (from the song “Whales, Whales, Whales) That gives us an idea of how the whale looks, and why it is called the “killer whale.” The song continues to use these catchy phrase for more whales including the blue whale, the beluga whale, the sperm whale, and even the dolphin.
